In addition to this, fiscal policy also plays a vital role to increase the demand of the labor and as a result; it is beneficial to reduce the unemployment rate and also increase employment opportunities in the economy of a nation. In the same manner, monetary policy also plays a major role to manage as well as control the unemployment rate of the nation. The main reason behind it is that monetary policy of a nation is based on the low unemployment rate of the nation (Sakamoto, 2008). Along with this, the major objective of the monetary policy is to promote economic financial growth and stability in the nation that reduces the unemployment rate of the nation in an automatic manner. Supply Side Policy: The supply side policies developed by the government of a nation play a significant role in order to reduce the micro-economic issues and also control the unemployment rate of the nation in an effective and a more comprehensive manner. For case, employment subsidies, improved labor market flexibility, improved geographical mobility, decreased power of trades unions, education training, and so on are the supply side polices that are beneficial to reduce, control, and manage unemployment rate of the nation in a significant way. For example, the education and training policy is beneficial to improve the skills of the people that are essential to a job. It is well-known that, structural unemployment occurs due to the discrepancies between the required skills and the skills that employees have (Stroup, 2007).
